Middle School Math
The Middle School Committee made a presentation to the Board of Education on May 21. Fifth and sixth grade math was addressed somewhat in the idea that math topics would be discussed in science and social studies classes. Details were not given whether math would be incorporated within the subject matter or be in a pure math form. Discrepancies between the team set-ups in P-OB Middle and Mattlin were discussed. Seventh and eighth grade math was not discussed. The Committee’s report will continue at the Board of Education meeting on June 4.
