Plainview Congresss of Teachers Union President Morty Rosenfeld raises some intriguing questions about the unseen consequences of the failure to group students appropriately as well as the effects of pull-outs on the classroom structure. While parents, the union president and the BOE agree that raising academic standards are a main concern, perhaps some broader changes in the structure of the school day need to be made to accomplish this goal.
